i think the chinese translation from #19 (angie)is more appropriate to what gary tried to express.......... please refer to gary english version as a base as sometimes it might cause a huge discrepancy between wat he tried to express when it gotta translate to other language....it might cause people to misundestood on what gary tried to tell/express.....especially those who are not familiar with gary...........but of course we do really appreciate for those really do a hard job for translation.....as we knew we are all care abt gary

I actually heard of bei pan from the RTHK radio online broadcast when you came out with that CD. I heart it and so are the others because you top that chart! When I heard Aska’s version from Million Star Avenue, I thought it was great! Other than he delivered, he had picked a great song. I didn’t really follow the news but I knew that you would have never said those things because I believe that someone who can write songs like that would have bigger vision and heart!! I guess you just need to not take it so seriously, i know it's very unpleasant to hear all those stuff. I watched xing guang bang final for almost 5 times. Not because of aska or xiao jin teng. but because u were invited to become the judge. They chose your song because Bei Pan is a very challenging and nice song. Only you can perform it perfectly because u were the one who created this song. When you sang Bei Pan with them i found that the key a bit lower than original key. Their voice range are not as powerful and cant compare with you. But no doubt they have their own voice personality. By the way, your mandarin is really better than some of the taiwanese artist. Somemore you always remain humble and didn't act arrogant like what other artist did. I like and support you always not just because of your nice vocal.But your characteristic too. It has been two days since you posted your feeling. I am sure that you have read all our comments and received all our supports...You have been working so hard and putting all your efforts in everything you do, and I am sure people recognized that. That's why you are so successful now and have your family, friends, colleagues and fans that love you so much all around the world cause we always receive and feel the love that you are spreading through your heart.. I am sure that you are doing great now as you are such a tough guy. From your passage, you already acknowledged the fact that show business is always full of gossips, just that you have to share your feelings and thoughts with us...It's not the matter that you are angry and wondering about your mandarin, you just can't understand why people always keep on gossiping and turning the facts around even though you are just behaving as yourself. Too bad! I may not able to read or pronounce a single Chinese word but now, I made myself proud at least I can speak using my mother tongue and sure one day I can write in Chinese letter! I hate to be sent to Malay school when I was small but what I can voice up at that moment! Life’s unfair since you and I stepped in this beautiful world. We can’t choose our parentage or roots! We may wish to be born and lead better life than people around us! I've been reading the papers and stuff. It's disappointing when the press degrades your effort and talent. I mean, how can they neglect the fact that you spent so much time promoting your music and composing it. But you gotta know that the press is trying to make topics for you because you are a celeb and you are popular nowadays. The 'it' thing would be to compare you and the other new comers because you've all got alot in common... Having nice vocals and being very talented... So try to relax and take it as nothing... If you take things too seriously, then you blow things out of portion and make yourself sad. Please don't do that. I mean you've already got enough to handle being a celeb... Why not use your extra time to think of something happier? Like having fan meetings around in Asia with your lovely fans??? By the way, I really love your new album. I think you matured again. I love how you concentrate on singing this time in your slow songs. I love your arrangements. Next time, I hope you include a classical or just a song with strings. It must be so frustrating to have to put up with all the malicious things that people say. And it's hard to ignore them. But you have so much talent in terms of song writing and singing. Don't let others get you down. It's not worth it. You have solid talent. I've lived in new york for many years and haven't really listened to Chinese music for a long time because there's just not much good stuff out there until I started listening to your music. You have written many songs that move people's hearts and identify with. When you are angry and frustrated, just remember there are soo many fans everywhere in the world who support you and love your music.

do you remember nicholas teo - he joined and won astro singing contest by singing someone else's song, and made it more famous than the original singer did in Malaysia. However, if you didn't write bei pan, you won't have 2 guys singing it with their eyes all closed and sporting, what my 5 year old said, a painful expression at xin guang da dao. I just got supersunshine today - it is super faboulous - so take heart.

Hi Gary! I love your music when you sang Superwoman. The voice was like so perfect. But my friends don't like your style coz they only depend on looks which i really don't. I don't believe in yi pao er hong(一炮而红) coz it will only be a while(one or 2 months) before you are 'out'. Going steadily step by step is the best way. I love the songs you composed! :) Actually yor mandarin isn't bad at all. The press wanted to get gossip and kinda twisted whatever you say to make more money. Well..i hate those singers who they call 偶像歌手. Me personally thinks that they only depend on looks to sell their album. But you are a 创作歌手 :) Cheer up! From a Singapore fan :)
